Breaking silos to advance the science of health delivery
The IN Lab is a faculty-led research and learning hub based in the Department of Global Health at Georgetown University. Inspired by the spirit of a traditional university wet lab, this dry lab brings together students, faculty, global and local partners to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in the delivery of infectious disease control and elimination.
To strengthen health systems delivery of infectious disease prevention and control interventions—especially in settings that serve ‘hard to reach’ populations
To generate scalable solutions by fostering a hands-on, collaborative research environment, that is both innovative and grounded in the realities of program delivery - breaking down disciplinary, geographic, and institutional silos
Conduct rigorous, policy-relevant research on delivery systems, sustainability, and integration
Develop case studies, articles, and tools, and frameworks to inform global practice
Mentor emerging researchers in implementation science and foster peer collaboration across diverse academic and professional settings
Convene cross-sector conversations that explore assumptions and drive innovation in infectious disease delivery
Whether you’re a student, policymaker, practitioner, or researcher, we invite you to join us in rethinking what’s possible in the delivery of infectious disease interventions
