The IN Lab is led by Dr. Maggie Baker, an associate professor in the Department of Global Health, School of Health. Her life’s work has focused on how to deliver effective and equitable interventions to control infectious diseases. She has worked in both academic and implementation settings, mostly on the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), and lived in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the S. Pacific, and the United States of America. Her research takes an interdisciplinary, implementation science approach to increase our understanding on HOW to deliver interventions in different real world contexts. Her publications include papers on the measurement and use of data on treatment coverage, on delivery of interventions to people that can be 'harder to reach', and on effectively integrating programs into health systems.
